COVID-19 forced us to rethink how we work. Instead of putting resources into running a fixed physical facility, we shifted to a direct-support model. We now send maximum funding straight to local island leaders, educators, and field teams running community-led initiatives.
In the Mentawais and beyond, this shift allows us to scale our support across remote island communities – driving tourism as a force for good through ocean education, clean water initiatives, and marine conservation projects.
